We have been getting a good number of visitors to our website on a daily basis. However, no club members have left any comments on the Home page! Perhaps members are unsure of how to leave a comment? It is easy to leave a comment:
- To the right of the post title is a link “Leave a Comment”. Click on this link.
- A comment page is displayed.
- Supply your name, email address and a your comment.
- There is a “Captcha” image on the page; this is to prevent spamming by robots.
- Read the the text of image and key into the Captcha Code field.
- Press the Submit Comment button.
You may also leave comments on many of the other pages. For example, on the Suggestion pages. The procedure is similar.
That’s all there is to it.

Just to let you know – this is my 2nd visit to the web-site. I like the idea of a Blog-site, but I wonder how many people will actually use it? We tried this in another club, and we post our newsletter on the site, but send out an announcement when it is posted. We also send the announcement on Facebook, but find that out of 40 members only 5 have become friends, and only 8 have become fans. What to do?
Everyone on Denver Digital’s previous meeting reminder e-mail list (members and friends) should be automatically added to it’s “friends list” to receive an email reminder about a week before each meeting to check the website. They could request to be removed from the list at any time. They could also request to be notified when something is added or changed on the site if they want to stay current throughout the month. You can’t expect everyone to be looking for new postings, even prior to meetings. It will become a habit for some, but not for others.
