Program Suggestions

At the January meeting we had suggestions from club members for topics to be covered by monthly programs. We also voted on various topics. The results of these suggestions are presented below for each of the categories Input, Edit, Output.

Please feel free to add more comments and add more votes. This will help us prepare and select programs for the future. Please make suggestions and vote for your selection by responding at the bottom of this page.

On the programs suggestions page, shouldn’t the title of the output category be just OUTPUT, and not Edit and Image Management as well?

It would be easier to vote on particular subjects for programs if there was a separate column to put our X’s in, instead of having to write them out. Then we could write out suggestions only if not listed. If you can do it, it would be easier to vote if the meeting VOTES and the website VOTES columns were lined up evenly instead of stairstepped.

The club is in the process of developing a program and speakers list for 2010. Club members and non members are eligible to be speakers on selected topics in the overall digital workflow: image capture, editing/management and output. Programs can be 15 minutes to 2 hours in length. Respond to this post, or email to: president@denverdigitalphotoclub.com if you would like to be considered.

I would suggest breaking the Lightroom topic into: Managing Images with Lightroom, and Developing Images in Lightroom. Both of these I would vote for.
