Print Exhibition

Preparation of prints for Exhibition at club meetings is generally done by under a print viewer that provides lighting of the print. Prints are handled for display with cotton gloves to prevent damage to print and mat.

1. Image Size: There is no limit to maximum print size. Note, however, that the print viewer limits the height of a print to about 26 inches. Larger prints would be lit by ambient room lighting.
2. Mounting: Prints should be mounted where possible. Exceptions would be the “before” print in a before/after image.
3. Matting: This is optional.
4. Framing and Glass: Please do not exhibit prints mounted in frames and under glass. The glass causes glare that prevents print from being appreciated. The frames have caused damage to other authors prints when meeting people are careless about stacking prints.
